BrothersoftEditor: The Fmod Ex sound system is a revolutionary new audio engine for game developers, Multimedia developers, sound designers, musicians and audio engineers. Based on the years of experience from Firelight Technologies' previous products, FMOD Ex aims to the capabilities of audio for games, whilst at the same using minimal resources and remaining fully scalable. FMOD Ex is available in two branches. The stable branch only includes bug fixes and supports.fev forward compatilibility. The development branch includes all bug fixes, new feature additions and supports all Designer functionality.

This section provides more technical information on how to use the FMOD designer API, and how resource allocation is handled to allow the programmer to account for performance and memory issues. Just to provide some background information, the whole FMOD designer API sits on top of the low level FMOD API.
