This diner is a far cry from the old Eagle Rock diner and its wood paneling. The Chit Chat West Orange, with big picture windows wrapping around the building, takes full advantage of the site’s incredible views of the NYC skyline. It also seems to echo its neighbor, Eagle Rock Reservation, with whimsical sculptures around the property. Inside, both the diner’s extensive menu and bold, colorful decor (think Cheesecake Factory meets Mackenzie Childs, similar to its sister restaurant, the Chit Chat Diner in Hackensack), let you know it’s not going to be an ordinary diner experience.
