I guess I have the same question: If I understood you right, you want to plug a second (VGA-)monitor to your hackintosh? Here I have a Gigabyte GTX 660 GPU and I'm running with a 27' HDMI monitor plugged in, everything works fine. Usually I have a second monitor which is connected with an DVI-to-VGA-adapter.
If one want to use a VGA monitor or have to use because of budget (like me) can buy a cheap Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter for 9.90. It's working flawlessly. Trust me this is the best solution to use VGA monitor. I used to thought i can use VGA with a DVI to VGA adapter but forgive me about this.
Under Win7 it works fine, with OS X it freezes while booting showing the light grey background. If I plug in the DVI-to-VGA-adapter while OS X is running, it freezes also. I'm not able to buy a new monitor right now because i'm off the limits due to buying a new rig. I will be able to buy a monitor earliest 2 weeks later or more. budget comes to show now i tried to install ML with using motherboards VGA output with HD4000 and everything went well. After multibeast installation 'booting' stuck at the apple logo. I press some keys and hear some sound so i understand something wrong but my audio is working.
this is the good side of the pain I tried to boot with -v GraphicsEnabler=NO and tha da I succeed to reach desktop. Now i'm able to listen music. Sound card SURELY GREEN JACK at back panel working. The only problem left here is Graphic Acceleration. While i have to boot with -v GraphicsEnabler=NO i know i wont have a acceleration.
But there might be a way to get rid of this for the sake of angels I'm new in the communuty but learning fast. The hardest thing for me was buying the rig but i jumped over this hurdle. Tomorrow i will buy a HDMI cable to connect my macx86 to LCD tv. IMO it will work.

Because i didn't know there are some types of DVI ports. If one google it, then he/she can find more about DVI ports like DVI-D DVI-I etc. The DVI-D port which is on UP5-TH dont have an analog signal output built-in. So anyone cannot be successful with using an adapter to turn it to VGA.
DVI to VGA adapter only works with 25+5 pin DVI-I port which can be found on old motherboards or Graphic cards. At last, if we have a mini display port or a thunderbolt port, we can use an active (type) adapter to turn digital signal to analog signal and use VGA. The solution is if you want more quality you can always buy apple products. I hope this helps to others in future. Thanks all the community.
